About Me

Carter Ritchey

I am a senior Communication and Media major with a concentration in Sport Media.

Through my experiences I have had in college I have solidified a passion for helping others and creating a more connected community.

When I am not giving a tour or working in the mailroom at Bluffton University you can find me on a volleyball court either playing or coaching youth.

My Experience

Lead President's Ambassador, Bluffton University

(March 2024 to present)

I am an upbeat and personable individual with a wide variety of university information suitable for the many campus tours I have the privilege of giving. Being an advocate for the university to alumni and prospective students is one of my favorite ways to connect with the community.

Resident Advisor, Bluffton University

(August 2022 to present)

As a resident advisor, I have the opportunity to bond with the residents on my floor as well as other staff members to create a safe and welcoming environment to those that live in the residence halls. Building a bond with my residents has been a very heartwarming experience.

Admissions Counselor, Bluffton University

(Starting May 2025)

I have such a passion for Bluffton University and I would love the opportunity to reach out to prospective students to potentially give them the same great experiences that I have had and to help guide them through their college admissions process.

Public Relations Intern, Bluffton University

This role involves assisting with media outreach, drafting press materials, monitoring media coverage, and helping organize PR events.
